How Does This Happen?

Eye site depends upon the nervous system. The eyes focus light on the retina and the optic nerves carry information directly to the brain. If there is trauma a "concussion" can result. Concussions can occur with or without loss of consciousness. One symptom of concussion is blurred vision.

What Can I Do To Help Myself?

The most important thing one can do after an accident is rest. Avoid over-stimulating the nerves by reducing stress. Avoid forceful exercise, loud noises, bright lights, etc. Get someone to drive you.
